Day 8 of Thanks: Laura Herbert

Laura Herbert has been a friendly face to me ever since I started work. She has grace, empathy, intelligence, is honest and has a sense of humor.

Sometimes women say they are excited for other women who do well, but you can tell they are really be jealous or disappointed. Laura is NOT one of those women. It has made me feel so special the times she has been happy/proud of for accomplishments that I’ve had. She is a woman that lifts other women up and is always learning/teaching those around her.

I am always going to her for advice (both personally and professionally). I appreciate how she gives helpful insight and often leaves me with questions so that I can truly make a decision that I feel I should make.

She is a great mentor at work. I love observing how she handles clients, project work, internal collaboration and learning about architectural design. I also like to consider her an honorary HVAC engineer since she sat near our row when we weren’t working from home! :)

Like my friend Kristina-she is such a great role model for me tackling both motherhood and being a badass career woman. I see the love she brings to her family and work. Thank you Laura for being such a great human being and inspiration to me! I am so thankful to have crossed paths with you!
